Terms And Conditions
1) Information about us
This page sets out the terms and conditions (“Terms”) on which we sell any products (“Products”) listed on our website (“Site”). By ordering any Products, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the documents referred to in them. These Terms and any contract between us are in English only.
Ahimsa London (trading name)
Address: 10 Middle Furlong, Bushey, WD23 3SZ

Telephone: 0333 577 2017
We may update these Terms from time to time (see clause 8). Please print or save a copy for your records.
2) Our Products
- Images on the Site are for illustration; colours can vary by display.
- Measurements (size, weight, clarity, dimensions) are accurate within reasonable tolerances; items may look smaller/larger in images.
- Packaging may differ from images shown.
- All Products are subject to availability; if unavailable we will notify you and will not process your order (see clause 7).
3) Use of our Site
Your use of the Site is governed by our Website Terms of Use and Acceptable Use Policy (where applicable).
4) How we use your personal information
We use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5) If you are a consumer
You may only purchase Products if you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
6) If you are a business customer
- You confirm you have authority to bind the business on whose behalf you order.
- These Terms and any documents referred to constitute the entire agreement and supersede prior discussions.
- You acknowledge you have not relied on any statement not set out in these Terms.
- Neither party has any claim for innocent or negligent misrepresentation based on any statement in these Terms.
7) How the contract is formed between us
- Our checkout lets you check and amend errors before submitting your order.
- After ordering, you will receive an acknowledgement email. This is not acceptance.
- Acceptance occurs when we email you confirming payment authorisation/receipt and dispatch (“Dispatch Confirmation”). The contract is formed at that point.
- If payment is not received in full, or appears unauthorised, we may cancel and refund any sums to the original payment method. We are not liable for losses arising from such cancellation.
- If we cannot supply a Product (e.g. out of stock or pricing error per clause 13), we will inform you and refund any sums paid.
- We may offer alternatives or, at our discretion, upgrade specification at no extra cost, subject to your approval before production.
8) Our right to vary these Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in payment methods, laws, or regulatory requirements. Each order is governed by the Terms in force at the time of your order. We will show the amendment date at the top of this page.
9) Your consumer right of return & refund
The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 provide a 14-day cancellation period for most distance purchases. Important exceptions apply.
- Bespoke & personalised items (including items made to your specification or sized to order) are non-cancellable and non-returnable unless faulty (Reg. 28(1)(b)).
- Earrings are returnable only if sealed and the seal is intact. If unsealed after delivery, they are non-returnable unless faulty (Reg. 28(3)(a)).
- Non-bespoke items: you may cancel within 14 days from the day after delivery. You must notify us in writing (email is fine) and return the item within 14 days of cancellation.
- Condition: items must be returned unused, in original condition, with all packaging, accessories, and certificates. You are responsible for any diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to examine the goods.
- Refunds: we will refund the Product price and the least-cost standard UK delivery (where applicable) within 14 days of receiving the goods back or receiving evidence of return, whichever is earlier. Refunds are made to the original payment method.
- Return costs: you are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or misdescribed. Use a tracked and insured service.
10) Resizing
- Rings can usually be resized a maximum of two times and within up to three UK sizes each way. Some settings cannot be resized; we will advise alternatives where applicable.
- After resizing, rings are not eligible for refund or exchange (this does not affect your statutory rights for faulty items).
- A fee may apply; please contact us for details.
11) Delivery (UK)
- UK orders are typically dispatched via Royal Mail or a suitable courier. Delivery timelines are estimates only.
- Your Dispatch Confirmation will include an estimated delivery date. If an event outside our control affects delivery, we will provide a revised estimate.
- Delivery is complete when Products are delivered to the address you provided. If paying by card, the delivery address may need to match or be associated with the payment method.
- Risk passes on delivery; ownership passes when we receive payment in full.
12) International delivery
- International orders are typically shipped by FedEx or another international carrier. Orders outside the UK/EU/EEA may be subject to customs clearance; you are responsible for duties, taxes, and admin fees.
- Check our Delivery Information page for current destinations and restrictions.
- Exchange-rate and international transaction charges may apply, set by your card issuer or payment provider.
- You must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.
13) Price of products and delivery charges
- Prices are shown in your selected currency as displayed on the Site and include UK VAT where applicable.
- Prices may change due to raw-material fluctuations, but changes will not affect orders already accepted.
- Where stated, standard UK delivery may be included in the Product price.
- Pricing errors:
- If the correct price is lower than stated, we will charge the lower amount on dispatch (unless the error was obvious).
- If the correct price is higher, we will contact you for instructions or cancel and notify you.
14) How to pay
You can pay using debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and any alternative payment methods offered at checkout. Payments are processed securely. We may refuse an order where payment cannot be authorised.
15) Manufacturer guarantees
Some Products include a manufacturer’s guarantee. Please refer to the documentation supplied with your Product.
16) Our warranty for the Product
For Products without a manufacturer’s guarantee, we warrant that on delivery and for 12 months thereafter the Product will be free from material defects. This warranty does not cover:
- fair wear and tear
- wilful damage, accident, negligence, abnormal storage or working conditions
- failure to follow care or user instructions
- alteration or repair by you or unauthorised third parties
- any specification provided by you
This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights.
17) Our liability if you are a business
- Nothing limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; breach of title (s.12 Sale of Goods Act 1979); or defective products (Consumer Protection Act 1987).
- Subject to the above, we will not be liable for loss of profits, sales, business, revenue, data, goodwill, anticipated savings, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss.
- Our total liability for other losses shall not exceed the price of the Products.
- Except as expressly stated, all warranties and conditions are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
18) Our liability if you are a consumer
- If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or negligence; we are not responsible for unforeseeable loss.
- We supply Products for domestic and private use only. You agree not to use the Product for commercial, business or resale purposes.
- We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; breach of title; conformity with description/quality/fitness for purpose under the Consumer Rights Act 2015; or defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.
19) Events outside our control
An “Event Outside Our Control” means any event beyond our reasonable control (including strikes, lock-outs, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorism or threat thereof, war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or pandemic, failure of public or private telecoms networks, or impossibility of using transport).
- If such an event affects our performance, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
- Our obligations are suspended and time for performance is extended for the duration of the event. We will arrange a new delivery date after the event ends.
20) Communication between us
“In writing” includes email.
Consumers:
- To cancel under clause 9, email websales@labmadediamonds.co.uk or call 0333 577 2017. If emailed, cancellation takes effect when sent; if by phone, when you call.
- For other queries, email the address above or write to: Ahimsa London, 10 Middle Furlong, Bushey, WD23 3SZ.
Businesses:
- Notices may be delivered personally, by pre-paid first-class post/next-day service, by email, or posted on our Site.
- Deemed receipt: personal delivery on delivery; post at 9:00am on the second Business Day after posting; email one Business Day after transmission; posting on the Site immediately.
- This clause does not apply to service of proceedings.
21) Other important terms
- Comparison shopping: due to the nature and value of our Products and any discounted prices offered, purchasing multiple similar items to keep one and return the remainder is not permitted (this does not affect your statutory rights for faulty items).
- We may transfer our rights and obligations to another organisation; this will not affect your rights.
- You may transfer your rights/obligations only with our written consent. If you are a consumer buying a gift, the warranty benefit in clause 16 may be transferred to the recipient.
- This contract is between you and us. No third party has rights to enforce its terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999, save for the warranty benefit noted above.
- Each clause operates separately. If any clause is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining clauses remain in full force.
- If we fail to insist on performance or delay enforcing rights, that does not waive our rights. A waiver must be in writing and applies only to the specific instance.
22) Governing law & jurisdiction
Consumers: these Terms are governed by English law; the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction (you may also bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction where applicable).
Businesses: these Terms (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the law of England and Wales; the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
23) Contract records
We do not file a paper copy of the contract between us. Order details are available in your confirmation emails or account (where applicable).
